One Color Owns the Frame
The red on the van does not fill the whole frame. What is does do is pull the attention of your eye. It stands out against the gray gravel and green grass. The window also acts as a frame.
A Circle that Isn’t Trying
There are four sets of circles in this photo. The candle itself in a circular shape. The beads wrapping around the candle in a circular motion. The spherical beads themselves. Finally, the plate the candle and beads are resting on is circular despite its scalloped edge. There are most likely more circles that I have not observed.
Smaller Than Your Thumb
Not only are the tiny white flowers smaller than my thumb, but so is the tiny honeybee located near the left of the frame.
A Hidden Triangle
Jutting into the bright blue sky is the pointed roof of Ephrata Mennonite School. It, in a way, appears as a triangle.
A Letter the Building Made
As self explanatory as we can get here. This railings shadow appears as a P.
A Circle that Isn’t Trying
Another circle here. The top of this yellow fire hydrant is looking quite circular to me. The pentagonal bolts could also fly on the radar of a circle if you wanted them to.
Opposites in One Picture
Hard, gray, lifeless rocks and their companion, a soft, white hydrangea. They are quite opposite, though they spend much of their time together.
Light Doing Something
The glass plate is the perfect medium for light. It creates a unique refection onto the cement windowsill.
