Why:

I decided to choose this class because I thought it would be a good experience for me. I also thought it would be cool to learn something new. I have used very few cameras apart from a phone, but I have used a polaroid before and those can be tricky.

Equipment:

In recent past I haven’t used much more than a phone, but I have only a few times used a DSLR as well as a polaroid camera.

Goals:

My main goal for this class is to successfully learn a new skill that could be helpful to me and to have a fun time while doing it.

This is a picture of when our class was on our field trip in DC and were walking through the city streets. It was pretty chilly when we walked around. I thought this picture was cool because of the early Christmas lights and the reflection of the sun off of the windows on all the tall buildings. I used my iPhone to take this photo.

This picture was taken Christmas Eve when it was just getting dark at Long Wood Gardens. This arrange of flowers was inside one of many of their large greenhouses. I like this picture because of the colors it shows and the lighting on some of the flowers inside the greenhouse. I used my iPhone to take this photo.

This is a picture I took when we were in Virginia. We were at the Virginia Aquarium when I took this photo. This picture is my little sister up against the glass of the aquarium looking at a sea turtle and some of the fish that were in there as well. I used my iPhone to take this photo.

This picture was also taken in Virginia from our Condo balcony. It was during sunset and I thought it looked really cool. I like this photo because of how it portrays the sun and the ocean. I used my iPhone to take this photo.

This is a picture of my cat. She’s a pretty, long haired cat that doesn’t do that much. One evening I thought that it would be cool to do some sunset photos, so my sister and I were taking some. About five minutes of taking photos and our cat was sitting beside us. I decided to take this picture of her, and I really like how the sun shines on her fur and through the grass. I used my iPhone to take this photo.

This picture was taken in Belize. My youth group had just gotten done with eating fresh coconut, drinking fresh coconut water, and swimming when I turned around and realized how pretty the sunset was. As I was taking the photo, I really liked how the silhouettes of the trees really stood out in the sunset. I love this photo because the combination of the sunset and silhouettes of the trees are really pretty. I used my iPhone to take this photo.
