The mode dial on the camera consists of the basic zone and the creative zone. The basic zone includes the auto, portrait, landscape, macro, sports, night, and no flash modes. While the creative zone includes the program, time value\/shutter priority, aperture priority, and manual modes. In the basic zone the auto mode allows the camera to control everything, for portrait the background becomes blurry, for landscape a sharp foreground and background is created, macro is for close-ups, the sports mode freezes action, the night mode is for dark scenes, and the no flash mode is the auto mode but with no flash. For the creative mode P\/program mode is when the camera picks both shutter and aperture, tv\/shutter priority mode lets you pick the shutter speed, Av\/aperture priority mode lets you set the aperture and the camera sets the shutter speed, and finally M\/manual mode is when you set everything, the aperture, shutter, and ISO. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

(Landscape Mode) Something I can do better is make my subject more defined instead of very similar to its surroundings. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

(Portrait Mode) Something I could do better with this picture is have a better focus on my subject, b\/c its kind of confusing whether the actual corn is the subject or if the husk is. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

(Sprots Mode) Something I can change is to try to get a closer image of my ‘moving’ subject so that it is clearer what part is supposed to become frozen instead of what was already.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

(Macro Mode) Something I can change is to try to get the whole subject instead of just part of it even though it is supposed to be a close-up. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Which mode felt most natural to use?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most natural mode to use for me was probably the macro mode, because even though it is a close-up, most likely nothing in the background or foreground will be blurred which can create a more natural and day-to-day look.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

When might you choose manual mode over an automatic one?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\/You might choose the manual mode over an automatic mode when it comes to the point of when you want to take full responsibility as a photographer rather than using a mode that does all the work for you and takes all the credit. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I chose this as my featured image first of all because it is my favorite picture, but there are also some other reasons. These reasons include how defined the detail is on the net and rim, a fascination from the colors with having the red versus the dark blue, all while there is still a main color of white and some black.
