Why…
I decided to take this photography class because of pure fascination and since photography is a subject that I enjoy I thought is would be a wonderful fit. Also I am hoping that this class will help build my knowledge in photography but also let me have fun in a hobby I like.
Equipment…
The type of equipment that I have used the most throughout my journey of photography is either a phone or digital camera. However, I have used my phone to take pictures the most. (iPhone 11)
This is the type of iPhone that I use… it is an iPhone 11.
Goals…
My goals for this class first starts out with enjoying it and taking my time to learn more about photography, I also want to learn how to create more creative and intriguing pictures.
This picture is actually one of my favorite pictures just because of the blurriness and leading into that it portrays. I say used the phrase, ‘leading into’ because this picture is of a stony walk way that leads into the distance. I took this picture with my iPhone on the way to Colorado.
This picture was taken in Colorado at the Garden of the gods. For this picture I wanted the wood beam to be in my picture so that is kind of the main focus, but I also thought that the rock formation in the background would be cool so even though that is not as focused in on I still think it adds a good touch of interest to the picture. This picture I also took with my iPhone.
This is a picture taken of my dog Macy, and it was just one of those random picture moments. Even though it was random, I still enjoy this picture because of the direction it was taken. The picture wasn’t taken straight on but off put so that helps with the look. (This picture was taken with my iPhone.)
I took this photo at a photo shoot destination, but the main reason that I took the photo was because of the similarity that it had with the book, ‘The Chronicles of Narnia.’ This was just so cool to me that I wanted to capture a life-like version of something fictional. Again, this photo was taken with my iPhone.
This was also one of those random moment pictures that concluded in beauty. I enjoy this picture mostly because of the memories that come along with it. The smell of sea salt and the sound of waves crashing. (This photo was also taken with my iPhone.)
This picture was one photo that reminds me more and more the more I look at, but the main thing it reminds me of is God’s promise. This picture was taken at a softball game with my phone right after a downpour.
