I decided to take this class for a number of reasons. One of which is that I enjoy aesthetic images. I have always enjoyed playing around with angles, lighting, and perspective when taking photos for social media. I am excited to learn how to take those interests and turn them into something for others to enjoy. In the past I have taken most if not all of my photos on my phone. I am excited to learn how to use a more complex device while exploring more about photography. My hope for this photography class is to learn more about how to tell a story through pictures. This post is going to be made up of some pictures I have taken that I was happy with.<\/p>\n\n\n

I chose this picture because of the color scheme and perspective that it brings. I took it at my mother’s work event after picking and creating my own bouquet. I used the 0.5 lens on my phone camera.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

I chose this picture because I love taking pictures of my outfits. It was taken at a Bible School with city kids that I taught at. I like to take photos that help me remember important events in my life. This photo was also take in 0.5 mode on my iPhone.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

I chose this photo because it has no editing has a unique perspective. It was taken in Greenville, South Carolina. I love this photo because it shows the love for children and nature that I have. I took this photo in 0.5 mode on my phone.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

I chose this photo because I love Linden Coffee and how aesthetic their drinks are. My drink perfectly matched the sky so I had to capture it. It was taken along the route from Linden to my house. I took this photo in an app called Lapse on my iPhone.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

I chose this picture because of the rain droplets captured. I also chose it because I love my car. (His name is Milo) It was taken at the front of my house during a down pour. This photo was taken on Lapse as well.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

I chose this photo because of the lightening and editing I used. I took this photo on the way home from Austin, Texas. We were almost landing so the city pictured below the plane is Washington D.C..
