For this picture I did not use any specific compositional rules. Instead I focused on the details of the small elements by using the macro setting on my camera. However, this photo also shows color balance because of the pop of yellow from the chip bag. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This picture uses the rule of thirds and leading lines. I also captured the harsh shadows and dramatic lighting that was created by the sun. This is another candid picture as well. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This is my featured photo because I loved how the background is blurred while the subject is clear. I also love how there is a pop of red in the sea of yellow created by the blood orange. Overall I think this photo does the best job at showing different kinds of compositional rules and still looking aesthetically pleasing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Closing Statement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this class I learned how to use compositional elements of photography in order to create aesthetic photos. I am very thankful for the camera mechanics that I learned as well.
