Depth of Field: The range of the distance in a photo that appears acceptably sharp or “in focus.” Everything in the zone looks "sharp" and everything outside looks blurred.
Photographers should use Depth of Field in their photos because it makes the subject of the photo sharper. I think a photographer should use Depth of Field when taking pictures of landscapes.
I chose this photo right above as my feature image, because I really like how the flowers are so close up. I like how you can see the little detail on the flower and how the background is blurred. It enficizes the flower more. I also think it shows depth of field well.
These photos above of the flowers are showing small depth of field. The subject is in focus but the background is blurred. For small depth of field photos the subject is very close up and in focus and the foreground is blurred.
These photos above of the teenagers playing soccer are displaying deep Depth of Field. More of the landscape is in focus rather than the boys. The subject is more of the landscape than the people.
These photos above of the plants in the window are displaying just the aperture changing. Some of the photos are slightly blurry because the aperture was open too long. The aperture setting determines the size of the lens opening.
