Perspective is very helpful in photography when it is used correctly. There are many different kinds of perspective, but some that I will talk about today are Bird’s eye view, Worm’s eye view, normal, and my own point of view. Bird’s eye view is when a picture is taken from above and the subject is shown from an entirely new perspective. You can do this buy getting on a chair or using a drone. Worm’s eye view is taken from below the subject. Some ways to get these pictures are to hold the camera to the ground or just get underneath something. A normal perspective is just from straight on, while a person’s POV has part of them in the picture.

Going from left to right, Worm’s eye view, Personal POV, Normal. The last one is Bird’s eye view. These different perspectives all make the plant that is usually pretty boring interesting because it offers a fresh view. It also captures the texture of the leaves better because in the Worm’s eye view the leaves look really shiny, while in the others they are kind of matte, which makes the viewer know that they feel almost rubbery.

Going from left to right: Bird’s eye view, Worm’s eye view, Normal, and then the bottom one is POV. I like how the Bird’s eye view and Worm’s eye view compliment each other because they not only show the plant, but also how tall the building is.

Going from left to right: Normal, POV, Worm’s eye view, and then on the bottom is Bird’s eye view. I like how in all of these the texture is emphasized with the gritty bumps of the metal. This was also good for a POV because you can see me using the pumps handle.

Going from left to right: Normal, POV, Bird’s eye view, and then my last image will be Worm’s eye view. I like that these pictures show the guitars different shades. Sometimes it looks darker and then other times the white and yellow undertones will come out.

This is my favorite image because I like that it is a different perspective than anybody ever sees a guitar from. It also has leading lines which take the eyes around the picture. It also has a really low DOF which makes the buttons on bottom stand out.
