I am taking this class because I want to improve my photography skills. I’ve always enjoyed taking pictures, however, I’m not very good so I’m excited to improve. In the past, I’ve used my phone, several DSLR’s and an Instax to take pictures. I would say that I’m most comfortable with my phone, but I also enjoy using a more professional camera.

One of my goals for this class is to be able to use light and angles so that I can make my pictures look better. I also want to know how to edit the pictures I take so that they look even nicer.
This picture was taken at Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. My family and I got to go there right after it rained so everything was really calm and the sky was extra blue.
I also took this picture in Alberta while we were driving towards Banff National Park. I like how the mountains make different layers of greens.
My class went to New York City last year and I took this picture on the Staten Island Ferry. This is of the Brooklyn side.
In March I went to Switzerland for miniterms. I thought it was so cool how from every town you could see the Alps in the background.This picture was taken inside of a cave where Anabaptists hid when they were being persecuted. It was such a pretty day because it had just snowed and it was all clinging to the trees.I took this picture in Oregon when we went to the beach. It was really windy, but I thought the lighthouse looked nice in the background.
