Perspectives are very useful in telling stories in pictures. The way you choose to take a photograph changes how the entire picture is perceived/viewed. Here are a couple useful point of views a photographer can use when taking a picture:
Normal viewpoint:
Eye-level how we naturally see the world
Familiar, balanced, relatable
Bird’s eye view:
From above the subject, looking down
Emphasize patterns shapes, spatial relationships
Worm’s eye view:
From below subject, looking up
Adds drama, makes subject appear larger/ more powerful
Crouch/lie down
Your point of view:
Camera becomes the subject showing what the subject would see
Creates immersion/storytelling
